Water Conservation

Oklahoma City Water Utilities has partnered with ThinkWater in the development of their municipal water conservation program known as Squeeze Every Drop to "demonstrate the true value of water to the community, manage demand on our water system, and encourage lasting improvements in water use efficiency and best management practices to use water wisely."(quote from OKC website)

Edmond REAL Water

The City of Edmond partnership with ThinkWater has been fostered to improve landscape irrigation practices to reduce the growing demand on water supplies and infrastructure for the benefit of individual residents, the community, and the environment. Check out the programs for 2019.

The OWRB is Oklahoma's state water agency with a mission to protect and enhance the quality of life for Oklahomans by managing and improving the state's water resources to ensure clean and reliable water supplies, a strong economy, and a safe and healthy environment. ThinkWater partners with the OWRB to provide water conservation education for Oklahomans and bring awareness to the state's Water For 2060 plan - a statewide goal to use no more freshwater in 2060 than was consumed in 2010.

With passage of House Bill 3055 (The Water for 2060 Act) in 2012, Oklahoma became the first state in the nation to establish a bold, statewide goal of consuming no more fresh water in 2060 than was consumed in 2010.
